In the realization that Oriental Dance is currently not an
acknowledged art, neither in the eyes of the public, nor
to professionals of other artistic disciplines, a group of passionate
persons started a
general reflection on the subject in August 2006.
This exchange of views resulted in the creation of the first
French network of amateurs and professionals for the promotion
of oriental dance in France, and later in Europe and worldwide.
Both artistic and educational part of the ODC - Oriental
Dances Circle's action. The creation of events will allow a very large
diffusion of Oriental Dances among devotees. Those events can be master
classes, shows, as well as, later on, a traveling festival..
